We acknowledge that unexpected discomfort is inconvenient and urgent, which is why we hope to see you as soon as possible.

What should I expect at an emergency appointment?

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by our attentive front desk team. Your dentist will carry out an assessment to determine the reason for your discomfort. At your pace, x-rays may be taken, and a few sensitivity checks may be performed as part of the diagnostic process.

The level of attention to detail that we put into your emergency appointment is no different from your routine one, and we put your comfort above all else. Once we have determined the source of discomfort, we’ll discuss with you the most appropriate treatment plan along with all your treatment options.

Will my treatment be completed on the same day?

The primary focus of an emergency appointment is your care and relief from any discomfort you may be experiencing. This may mean that you will have an initial appointment to relieve discomfort and place a temporary restoration to return once your tooth has settled.
